Transforming Behavior Summit

Get the HOW-TO GUIDANCE Needed to Address Behavior with Compassion, Grounded in Science, and Honoring Neurodiversity

Many of the world’s neurodiversity, parenting, ADHD, and autism experts have come together in one series of actionable workshops to share the evidence-based knowledge, tools, and strategies that help transform challenging behavior so our neurodivergent kids can shine.

For parents of neurodivergent kids, and their teachers

Imagine… No more tiptoeing around big emotions or bracing for the next meltdown. You're not second-guessing every decision or feeling stuck in survival mode.

Instead, you’re finally understanding what’s really going on beneath the big emotions and big behavior. You have go-to strategies that calm the chaos and support your child’s nervous system — without power struggles or shame.

Your child feels seen and safe. You feel more confident and connected. School feels more doable, home feels more peaceful, and hard moments don’t spiral like they used to.

Behavior isn’t the “problem” anymore — now you see it as communication. And with the right tools in your pocket, you finally feel like you know what to do.

“The [sessions] reaffirmed my current practices and approach and gave me some great mantras. My favorite from Penny was "You can either co-escalate or co-regulate" Total game changer.”

“Many educators I work with have an old-school approach where the child needs to conform to the rules in the classroom. I am realizing more and more that when students don’t comply, it isn’t because they won’t, it’s because they can’t.”

“As I listened to the teachings, although the focus might have been different in each one, consistently hearing over and over again that kids need to feel safe, free from pressure, connected, and empowered, then they can move forward, was very impactful to me. It was also so validating to hear I am not alone struggling with my child and my ability to co-regulate (vs. co-escalate).”

“Very helpful and informative. I’ve already seen results in shifting my own mindset.”

"I have watched a lot of these types of summits recently and this has been the best. I am surprised by that and I want to sincerely thank you for that. You quietly and honestly asked the best questions and did so while sharing your own personal experiences in a very real and relatable way. You sought out a wide variety of speakers who answered questions I didn’t even know to ask.”
Nicole
"These expert sessions really helped me to understand my kids on a level I didn't think possible.”
Jennifer B.
“I’m drinking from a fire hose following my daughter’s diagnosis last month and found your summit — your content and expertise is 100% top notch! This Summit has shaped the new normal of our parenting style and enabled us to have the tools, resources and experts to effectively raise up our kiddos, instead of just raise them.”
Adam C.
“The information is helpful in a real-world way. It's not just concepts that are covered, but how to apply those concepts in real-life ways to help make things a bit easier for us and our kids.”
Tiffani
“You only gain so much information from the doctor. The topics during the summit went into much more details and gave information not given by the doctor. It was a great benefit to have access to so many different professionals and experts in one place.”
Jennielle Potter
"The 2020 Summit has been a great blessing to our family. I am walking away feeling inspired to try new things and prepared with knowledge and advice from leading experts in their fields. I could not recommend this more to parents whose child has been newly diagnosed or one who has been on this journey for years. I feel like everyone can glean something valuable from this Summit. Highly recommend!“
Kate Andrews
"I don't think I've spoken to anyone I know this week without singing the praises of the speakers! I love seeing Sarah and Penny there every time to relate the expert's knowledge to their own experiences with their children.”

Transforming Behavior Summit

You'll learn practical and actionable strategies to:

help your child through big emotions and situations caused by big emotions

help your child get things done — even if they seem unmotivated, scattered, or unwilling to try new or hard things

implement tools, systems, and strategies to calm chaos and reduce stress

build emotional awareness, communication, and regulation tools

foster the grit and resilience necessary to do hard things

handle parenting challenges like lying, avoidance, and burnout

What You'll Learn
This Summit is different. You'll learn practical and actionable strategies to transform some of the biggest stumbling blocks you and your child are struggling with. My goal is to empower you by providing the evidence-based information, support, strategies, and community you need to thrive.

Here's what's inside:

Tackling Tough Situations

When the behavior of neurodivergent kids is problematic and volatile, it can be hard to know what to do to help. Our instincts often make these situations worse. We're going to teach you how to improve behaviors like aggression, lying, meltdowns, and lack of motivation.

Building Skills and Habits

When we know better we do better — that goes for kids and adults alike. Neurodivergent kids often need support to learn lagging skills — like regulation, communication, and flexibility — and to create systems and environments that offer opportunities for success.

Fostering Growth & Transformation

There's a lot of work to be done on our own approaches and mindset so we can show up in the ways our kids, teens, and young adults need us to. Learn how to create and foster a culture of compassion and growth so everyone gets what they need.

AT THE END YOU'LL KNOW:

How to support the needs of kids who are acting out, freaking out, or zoning out.

How to use connection, regulation, and emotional wellbeing to help kids feel good so they can do good.

How to handle and mitigate intense, aggressive behavior.

What to say or do when your kid is stuck or having a hard time.

Transforming Behavior Summit

This is the turning point you've been waiting for.

More than 50% of our experts are neurodivergent themselves!

One Summit.
Decades of expert wisdom.
A lifetime of impact for your kid.

When my son was first diagnosed with ADHD, I spent years stuck in a cycle of trying to “fix” what I thought was broken. But over time, I realized the power of shifting my perspective to focus on his strengths, embrace his individuality, and work with his unique brain… instead of fighting against it.

This summit was born from that experience. It's designed to move away from the deficit-focused mindset we often encounter by offering a roadmap to thriving. My goal is simple yet transformative: empower parents and educators with neuro-affirming strategies to transform behavior and offer opportunities for thriving.

Discover how to reframe challenges as opportunities, identify the strengths within, and build a foundation for resilience and success.

We’re not just offering strategies — we’re building a community of hope, understanding, and action to end your overwhelm and isolation.

Hello!

I'm Penny.

I'm a parenting coach and educator for families of complex kids. I teach stuck and struggling parents how to dial down the big emotions and big behaviors and create a neuro-affirming ecosystem to maximize your neurodivergent kid’s success and joy.

Through my podcast, award-winning books, parent training programs, parent coaching, and neurodiversity summits, I’ve helped thousands of parents raising kids with ADHD, autism, and/or anxiety improve their lives.

I'd be honored to help you, too.
