Hi! I love this podcast and wish it would've been around when my now 25 year old daughter was young. I believe she may have ADHD and unfortunately slipped through the cracks. I have so much mom guilt because I didn't get her help that could've helped her navigate through school and life in general. Any advice on how to help her now?
It's never too late. Is she open to getting an evaluation and potentially having ADHD and getting treatment? Many young adults are in denial, which is why I ask. If she's open to the possibility, help her schedule an evaluation. If she's not, there's not a lot you can do until she is. However, you can be more understanding and try to help her set up tools and strategies to work with individual challenges.
