I'm talking with divorce and family attorney, Morghan Leia Richardson, about how to navigate co-parenting a child with ADHD when the parents don't agree on ADHD treatment and parenting. There are ways to pre-plan for these parenting disagreements during the divorce process, as well as resources and recourse for resolution after. Court proceedings aren't the only option for resolution, and Morghan outlines a few better options. If you and your co-parent disagree on how to parent your child with ADHD, this episode is a must-listen.

  • Hi, Are there mediators who truly understand ASD and ASHS? Not Courts who clearly wont – cause too much damage than good. Supporters who have good advice for a whole family that are Autistic. One parent also ADHD, the other who doesnt believe in Autism or ADHD? Kids 8 and 10 not given a voice, all dominated by very insecure Dad and wants to have 100% involvement still though divorced 6 yrs ago. Hard on kids 50/50 with Mum and Dad going one house to other. Is there any support for this or do we have to keep muddling through even when so emotionally painful to all involved? In UK I cant find any appropriate support – other than just wait for kids to be old enough to work out for themselves. Thats what Im doing but is it really the only option?
