Episode #2 in my 5-Minute Fix video series: Sleep
Bedtime can be frustrating and stressful for parents and kids alike when your child has ADHD (or autism). Individuals with ADHD often struggle a great deal with falling asleep and staying asleep. In this video, I offer four sleep strategies that work well for my own son, and many other kids like him. And when your child sleeps well, you have the opportunity to sleep well too. It’s a win-win!

I have great admiration for you as a mother, author, & speaker due to your passion in helping other parents of “shiny kids.” Your podcasts & sleep videos are excellent resources however, the fact that they aren’t available in transcript form significantly limits how helpful they can actually be for many of my clients & many others. As we know from research, it’s not uncommon for a child w/ ADHD to have a parent who also has the condition. Most of those I know (including myself), are visual learners & struggle to take notes & listen simultaneously. With videos & podcasts, not having them in a written form is very frustrating. So is the inability to keep resource info from the podcasts & videos in written form for easy access. Lastly, parents, caregivers, & ADHD clinicians who are hearing impaired can’t benefit from your excellent podcasts due to there being no transcript option.
If there is anyway you can address these problems, I’m sure MANY would be grateful & more would benefit from all of your knowledge, experience, resources, & support.
