There’s joy between the struggle

As Pulitzer-prize winning journalist Katherine Ellison said at the beginning of her foreword for my upcoming book, What to Expect When You’re Not Expecting ADHD, “being the parent of a child with ADHD is no frolic in the park.” Yep! The struggle is real. But, there’s joy there too, if you’re looking for it.

In the interest of keeping it real on both the positive and negative sides of parenting a child with ADHD and focusing our compasses to the positive, I’ve compiled a list of 25 things to love about your child with ADHD.
